The Sales & Marketing Council of the National Association of Home Builders gave a Gold Award to R Group, with DesignLines Inc and Williams & Paddon Architects, for th|e 7,000 sq. ft. sales pavilion created for Trilogy at Redmond Ridge, an lifestyle community developed by Shea Homes, one of America’s largest builders.

R Group President, Diana Robertson, says the pavilion is a fresh approach to pre-selling homes to Pacific NW residents. “The focus is on the lifestyle experience, golf, trails, wetland, the spectacular clubhouse, spa and community spirit — not floorplans or product.”

Stone and cedar finishing details and colors reflect regional craftsman architecture and the natural environment. Twelve model homes complete the tour experience.

The Nationals is North America’s largest product, sales and marketing competition for the new home building industry. This year there were more than 1,200 entries in the awards program, which was judged by an impartial panel of industry experts from across the United States.

In recent years R Group has also won NAHB Gold Awards for:
• Best black & white ad (1/2 page and over)
• Best web site (associate or supplier)
• Best signage (judges’ award of
   excellence)
• Best sales office (650 sq ft or over)
• Community of the year (attached)

When it was time to update the San Diego Building Industry Association’s logo, they decided to hold a contest and invited local design firms to compete. When the dust settled R Group was the winner! R Group’s senior designer, Justin Baker, provided the winning entry. Congratulations Justin!
