A native of North Vancouver,
BC, Joel Jaffe is currently studying and performing
in Salt Lake City. He began his musical studies
as a choral student under Bruce Pullan, director
of the Vancouver Bach Choir. Following several
years of choral singing, while continuing his
studies in piano, Joel began his vocal studies
with Marianne Weltman in Seattle, Washington.
No stranger to the concert stage, Joel has also
appeared as tenor soloist with the Vancouver Bach
Choir and Vancouver Symphony Orchestra in a Sing-Along
of Handel's Messiah, and with the Capilano College
Singers in Schubert's Mass in C. Joel Jaffe has
also performed several recitals in the Vancouver
and Seattle areas.
Joel wanted an interactive Flash website that
would not only cater to the North American audience,
but opera fans from around the world. Personal
branding and identity development were other requirements
of this project.

4AM Group worked with Joel Jaffe to develop a
streamlined, contemporary and interactive Flash
promotional website. Identity development and
personal branding of the rising star was of utmost
importance to 4AM. The interactive solution was
developed to target a world wide audience; comprised
of any age, gender, nationality and race. The
final result provided a highly animated, consistent
and friendly user interface complete with Joel
Jaffe recorded performances.
Website traffic to Joel Jaffe’s site was
astonishing with over one hundred unique visitors
in the first week of the launch date. Global traffic
continues to increase at an alarming rate. Total
unique visitors today total in the hundreds. The
use of graphics, photos and music instead of text
allowed Joel Jaffe to share his joy of music with
an international audience. The use of streamlined
Flash techniques between website pages made for
easy transitions and great user experiences.
