Homegrown on the West Coast,
DJ Rod is infamous for taking his listeners on
a journey far beyond the mystic's reach. Playing
deep, progressive house fused with tribal rhythms,
Rod's spirit and skill behind the decks emanate
the pure sound of joy and elation as he gives
his listeners a shiver up the spine. Having played
at lounge venues such as Fiction, Naked, BarNone
plus a residency at Balthazar, DJ Rod likes to
share with his listeners smooth grooves, organic
beats and the kind of rhythmic pulse that vibrates
the body onto the dance floor.
DJ Rod engaged 4AM Group to develop an interactive
Flash website.

4AM Group worked with DJ Rod to develop an interactive
Flash promotional website. Identity development
of the rising star was of utmost importance to
4AM. The Flash solution was branded to target
a specific audience; comprised of 15 to 35 year
olds interested in house music and entertainment.
The final product provided a highly animated and
user friendly interface complete with DJ Rod mixes
and a 3D Flash teaser.
Website traffic to DJ Rod’s site was astonishing
with over two hundred unique visitors in the first
week of the launch date. Global traffic continued
to increase at an alarming rate over the first
year. Total unique visitors today total in the
thousands. The use of graphics, symbols and music
instead of text allowed DJ Rod to share his joy
of music with an international audience. DJ Rod
wishes to revamp his website for the third time
later this year to reflect his music’s growth
and maturation.
